9:30 am to 3:00 pm – SOLD OUT
12:00 noon to 5:30 pm – SOLD OUT
Tour Cost: $165.00 + GST
Tours depart from the Oil Sands Discovery Centre. You will take a guided tour of the Suncor Mine Site including the areas of extraction, upgrading, and reclamation. Please note: due to safety and security regulations, this is predominantly a bus tour—participants will only be allowed off of the bus in select areas. The tour will return to the Oil Sands Discovery Centre, where you will have lunch and have time to explore the Discovery Centre’s various exhibits focused on both mining and in situ oil sands production. (for afternoon tour, lunch and OSDC will be first)
Morning tour: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm (delegates are free to stay as long as they like at the OSDC), please arrive by 9:00am to check-in with photo ID.
Afternoon tour: 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm
All tour delegates must provide full legal name and date of birth, and submit to an RCMP background check.
